She began her acting career in the 1980s. her acting career and gained notoriety for portraying Siobhan Ryan in the soap opera daytime Ryan's Hope between 1982 and 1986. Her best-known role in the show is Catherine Willows, a CBS procedural police drama. Crime Scene Investigation, a TV show that ran between 2000 and 2013, and Immortality the TV movie which was released in 2015. Vegas The film was made from 2022 onwards. Helgenberger has also appeared as the role of K.C. She was awarded the Emmy Award in 1990 for Outstanding supporting actress in the Drama Series for her role as Koloski on the ABC Drama China Beach from 1988 to 1991. Also, she has parts in the TV series Under the Dome and Intelligence as well as the movies Species (1995) Species II (1998) Erin Brockovich (2000) and Mr. Brooks (2007).
