David Muir was born in the United States and is a famous American journalist. The ABC News show World News Tonight, with David Muir has been a popular for a number of years. Additionally it is his co-anchorship of ABC News magazine 20/20. Its dramatic video footage and its animated gestures make it the most watched American newscast. The anchor is also famous for his Emmy-nominated show Made In America. His predecessor Diane Sawyer was the anchor of ABC World News Tonight before taking it over. He has reported numerous evening specials on primetime ABC News some recent ones including Breaking Point: Heroin in America and Flashpoint Refugees in America. He has covered news around the globe, including in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. His accolades include several Edward R. Murrow Awards in addition to awards from the Associated Press.
